Rescheduling, Cancellation, No Shows, Insurance & Billing Policy

Late Cancellations/No Shows

If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please do so at least 48 hours in advance (not counting weekends). Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled appointment or missed appointments will be charged the full fee.

Insurance and Billing

Mindfully Mended Psychiatry operates as an “in-network” for these major commercial insurance providers: Cigna, Aetna, United, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Quest Behavioral Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas (coming September 2025). We have partnered with Headway to ensure that care can be provided. Headways dedicated team, acts as a liaison with your insurance provider, answering your questions and providing guidance and support every step of the way. Please check your email for registration requests. Please register as promptly as possible to ensure we can schedule you as soon as possible.

Other Pay for Service Options include Private Pay and a Monthly Concierge Plan Option. These two options allow Dr. Stehl to tailor appointments and provide individualized care. After each session, you can request a receipt with details, including tax ID, date, and diagnostic codes. You may submit this to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

Full payment is due at each visit. We accept cash and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Health Savings Plans, Discover, and AMEX). Accounts over 60 days past due cannot schedule future appointments.
